  1. Yes I have. Before surgery all I did was cardio. So treadmill, elliptical, dance and spin (which I love) but I know I need to do more weight training now. So time to start figuring out what I'm doing! Thanks got the inspiration. The fact that you are now a trainer is awesome.
  2. Thank you for the advice. I know that genetics has a lot to do with it but if I can help the situation at all, I will try my hardest. I'm only 6 weeks out and would like to start now.
  3. I've heard that aside from walking, you should lift weights to tone and help avoid any loose skin if possible. Does anyone know anything about this? I would like examples of what type of exercises to do. I know absolutely nothing about lifting weights.
  4. I may try that. At my one week appointment, my nutritionist said I wasn't at the stage where I needed to worry about protein yet. So I have never had a Protein shake. I'm thinking I'm not taking enough in though. After reviewing everyone's diets.
  5. I was given foods and portion guidelines but not calories. I just calculated my day and it's only 270 calories. Maybe that's my problem. Hmm...I should probably ask about that.
  6. So do I. The water intake is my biggest downfall. I sip all day but it can be hard to get down a whole 48 ounces. I have also read that it is possible to have a stall if you don't eat enough calories. I have my 3- wk appointment on Tuesday. Hoping I can get some answers.
  7. I don't have BMs everyday. I guess that could be a factor too, I'm going to try drinking more water. It can be hard to drink 48 ounces sometimes when you can only sip. I just don't know what else it could be.
  8. Yes, I am 33 and started at 225. I follow all the rules and go to the gym 4 times a week. Which is why I am at a loss as to why my weight loss has stopped. I lost 10 lbs the first week, 5 the second and only one last week. Have had no loss at all for about 5 days now. It's just frustrating.
  9. Only 3 weeks out and have already had a stall in weight loss. Anyone else experience this? Is it common? It has me very worried.
