  1. I think from my papers it is more the pulp. It says from my surgeon > avoid fibrous foods they may block the opening leading out of your stomach. NO COCONUT EVER! Citrus pulp, nut, celery, asparagus, and other fibrous items will need to be reintroduced into your diet when you add back raw veggies.
  2. Thanks Nish that makes me understand that not everyone will like the idea. John Tiffany and I have been best friends really like sisters for 19 yrsbthat is why it is so upsetting. But she will get over it cause it will happen.
  3. My best friend told me last night she did not know why I waned the surgery. If I apply my self I can get the same results. I was really upset I did not get her support. She is very over weight and she knows the health problems that this surgery could help. I feel that I can't talk to her about this and she and this are a huge part of my life how do I not talk to her about it?
  4. Thank you so much. So excited to meet people who understand and people who are going through same stuff!
  5. Hi Nita here, I have been working on getting this surgery for a little over a year. Last year i had everything done getting ready to make appointment with surgeon and.........my insurance changed and the new insurance did not pay for bypass. I was so devastated. I have type 2 diabetes and high blood pressures. Being over weight doesn't help but i have both very heavy in my family on both sides. All I could think about was the years that the insurance was denying me years of my life with con't diabetes and struggled weight loss. Now we have insurance that does pay for the bypass and I am so excited to say that my next step is to meet with the surgeon.
