  1. lawanda jessica, amen girl you have totally summed up my feelings!!! thank you! I think we are living in a parallel universe lol.
  2. Thank you all so much for your posts. I am single and seem to find all the aholes lawanda jessica wrote about. I have a wonderful support system and have no fear about going through the surgery and having all the help I need after. I am thinking dating needs to be on the back burner. I just wonder if it is possible to find someone who can love me now as I am and enjoy the hell out of me on my way to my goal?
  3. At my psych appt. the doctor said that she didn't think I answered the tests honestly as they conflicted. She tried to make me very depressed, honestly I don't see myself that way. I do admittedly have some issues in that department but am already on an antidepressant and feel great most of the time. I'm not sure what she wanted besides me to come back a couple more times at $150 a shot. Not a huge problem but office is 150 miles away and requires me to take time off from work. My doctor agreed that if I did not need to go back unless insurance required or psych dr. recommended denial until appts completed. Neither are an issue now but dieting for 6 more months for approval. I suppose psych will be next issure for delay. Oh well I will do whatever it takes, I am determined!
  4. This is the first time I am writing here. I am in the trying to get my insurance to approve me phase. I am dieting for six months to try to get approved, I will be asking for approval again in November. My concern with relationships at this point is wondering if anyone out there has met someone preop and maintained that relationship through the surgery and into finding the "new you"? I date here and there and never know whether to say anything about my pending surgery. Any suggestions? Thank you all for the support! Julie
