  7. Ive been MIA as my ipod was stolen but i have a new cell phone and after some hurdles, surgery is Oct 15 (whoo hoo)! Everyone pre and post op, keep up the good work! Im soooo excited!!!
  8. U can make it at home. Boil Water, toss in some chicken bouillon cubes and when the water boils put in some eggs uve scrambled. Use a fork to move it around and voila! Egg drop Soup
  9. Is this something really common with wls or any surgery? I've never had thrush but have had other surgeries
  10. Thanks for letting me know. Guess I'll stick with my iPod touch
  11. Also, is there an app for this for blackberry?
  12. So excited!!! I checked the mail today and received a letter from the Bariatric Center saying I completed all my steps for surgery and just need to wait on a phone call from the surgeon ????????????. Bummer part: in order to take a medical leave of absence I need to be at my job for one year which is July 6.
  13. I'm a weenie 4 pain but I figure some ibuprofen will work. Good luck meeting your surgeon and as for questions, ask away. This app is great and people on here are so helpful.
  14. Thanks ????. I just tell it like it is lol
  15. And has anyone had huge loose skin issues?
  16. Phew, a week isn't too bad. @mamiof3kids I say do it everyday, great exercise. Thanks for answering my questions everyone! And good luck to all. I have another question...but it's a dirty one and I don't know if I'll get booted for asking so I'll try to make it sound....umm...general lol. So u can only sip a few ounces at a time. If I were with my fiancée and was in a swallowing situation....how would that work? Sorry for the tmi
  17. I've had pcos for about 3 years now and coincidentally it started after I got off the depo shot. Only thing that helps is a bc pill called cryselle. I don't ovulate and everything is out if wack. Hoping it goes away after surgery
  18. I haven't had my surgery yet and used to drink OJ every day. Tropicana makes a 50% less sugar and calories OJ. Not sure how much is in it but it's a HUGE difference. I was also told stay away from anything acidic
  19. Thanks for the info. How did you feel post op? I've also got a LOT to lose. I'm at 366 and can't wait for surgery. I've changed my eating habits, exercise and have lost 1.5 lbs so it's so discouraging. Dietician says pcos can cause me to not lose weight and in the back of my head I wonder if I'll lose after surgery. Sorry if I'm rambling but after reading the posts on here, especially yours, I feel like I can express myself more here than with the groups @ my bariatric center..and I've been dying to know (if anyone wouldn't mind answering) how long after until I can have sex?
