  1. Please email me too, I'm getting tired of eating the same things over and over. Disneynut02@gmail.com Thanks
  2. Your story sounds just like me, I read what everyone said about the more protein and I will add another protein shake and see if it helps. It is very upsetting, I agree 100%! I pray the protein is the trick!
  3. That is a big goal of mine!
  4. Oh I forgot to say it was not white foam, it was vomit and there was even force behind it! Yuck!
  5. I went a whole month without vomiting, tonight that ended. I ate something that I have eaten quite a bit over the past two weeks. I have no idea why it happened , I had only taken a few bites and I started feeling horrible. It took about forty-five minutes later before I got sick.
  6. Tomorrow is 30 days and today I have lost 29 pounds
  7. It was just ok to me, I have NEVER liked cottage cheese and it may just be in my head. I prefer plain no fat greek yogurt with sugar free jelly.
  8. Have fun and say Hi to Mickey!
  9. I have been wondering the same thing, I am 3 weeks today and have lost 24 pounds (surgery 6/12). The last few days I have stayed the same weight however, I have been very constipated! Maybe after I go, I might lose some weight.
  10. I was doing great , pooping everyday for the whole week after surgery. Then I started the pureed diet and I had not gone in 4 days. My husband convinced me to try dolcolax around 1030 last night. Around 0130 I did go but, my god did it hurt, since I already have hemorrhoids! First thing this morning I called the doctors office and talked with the dietitian and the doctor. Apparently I was not drinking as much since I started eating food, so the doctor told me that I needed to eat half as much and drink twice as much to use tuck pads for the pain that have been iced. Also to use the miralax to help with the bowel movements. I have taken the miralax about an hour and half ago and just waiting! Oh one more thing, he told me to wait a few days to take the gallbladder meds. I go for the next post-op visit in a week. I thought I was giving birth last night, horrible pain that I don't ever want again! I pray this is not what my future holds!
  11. Ellicott City, Md My surgeon was Dr. von Rueden at St. Agnes Hospital in Baltimore 6/12/12 and so far so good! Dr. is very good, did the surgery using the Davinci Robot laproscopically.
  12. I ordered a food scale today, but I honestly don't think it's too much maybe too fast. I was told to wait 30 minutes before drinking and I waited over an hour. I guess after the scale comes, I'll have a better idea.
  13. I am just getting into the pureed stage. 2 times I have eaten food and had no problems until an hour later after trying to drink. I figured if I was going to have issues it would happen a lot sooner. The symptoms are pain in the stomach/pouch. Also sharp back pains on left side. Nothing has come up. Any thoughts?
  14. I had surgery on the 12th, I still think that I look swollen although my husband doesn't think so. I do admit it doesn't feel as tight right now. I have been on the treadmill walking a mile the past two days, it is making the gas leave which really helps.
  15. How long before I can take these? Just had surgery in the past week and I had always taken them prior to that day.
  16. I have never smoked, so that was not my issue. This all just started yesterday which is 5 days after surgery.
  17. It is awful, my husband had garlic last night and hours later I could still smell it coming out of his pores. During the day it was the sunscreen. I pray that by a few weeks this gets better, otherwise I may have to isolate myself.
  18. I have hardly had any sense of smell for about 15 years and now all of the sudden after surgery on Tuesday I am hypersensitive to all smells now. Has anyone ever experienced this? If so, did it last? I hate it, all of the whey Protein smells so bad that I can't drink it anymore. I just had surgery on Tuesday and have a long way to go. Thanks,
  19. I just had surgery Tuesday and my back is killing me, doc said allot of it was from lying on the or table for 4 hrs. I hope it gets better soon!
  20. Hey everyone, I just got home. Pretty sore, haven't really passed gas and I have a fever. Just glad to be home!
  21. I can't drink anything after midnight, I'm getting ready for bed now. I did go 3 times over the course of the day. I have to be at the hospital at 545 am, do I hope it was enough.
  22. Half a bottle, which they didnt define how big a bottle. Mine was 10 ounces. I drank a little more than half.
  23. I have had liquid all day, I drank the magnesium citrate at 2 pm and have only gone to the bathroom a little bit. Should I drink more of it?
  24. That is my plan...I signed all of the consent forms yesterday and that was what made me nervous, all the possible complications! I saw your post about getting in all the water/liquids. They stressed that to me yesterday, that if I get dehydrated that I will end up back in the hospital. Good luck with getting yours in!
