I was put to sleep first don't remember any of it. All I remember is the doctor and staff loved my toenails...put some humor into it to relieve some stress. Good luck!!
Chicken, turkey, eggs, extra lean ground beef, potatoes, squash, green beans, tomatoes, zucchini, strawberries, frozen yogurt, these are a few things that don't seem to hurt.
I can eat small ants of rice, but no noodles. I have problems with bread and tomato based sauce...no Italian for me. Cereal is bad too. Can't do fresh raw veges and several cooked ones either.
My body rejected the surgery. I could not drink protein drinks or eat anything for the most part. Then I could not keep water down. When I stopped trying to drink, I would just heave for hours. I was put in the hospital and feed through a picc line. I had to push my doctor into this and it was what saved my life.
I almost died at 6 months out, I am doing much better now. I just started working out after a month of physical therapy. Now I am finding that I am hungry all the time along with being tired and sore. I still go to the psychologist for eating problems, after months of being sick every time I ate something I found I needed help to eat again. Now I feel I need the opposite. I am still losing weight even though I want to just maintain now!
