  1. My band has also slipped upwards and I have decided to have it removed on Tues. Sept 1. I spent 6 months making this decision and wish I had made it sooner. I am scared that I will regain my weight again as I have always been able to lose weight but I cannot keep it off. I think my band slipped on the 4th day post op. I lost 20lbs. By the end of the 2nd surgery that will be about $1,000.00 per pound. Hope there are better solutions out there. I wish my original surgeon would have done a flouroscopy when the problems first occurred (2 years ago) instead of placing blame on my compliance.
