Anyone used Kim Bariatric Institute in Colleyville Tx? If so how was your experience?

I went to my pre op appointment today which its day 7 of my liquid diet and I'm down 9 pounds... I can't wait to see how much more i can do til surgery on November 12th!!!!

I'm on day 6 of a 21 day clear liquid diet. I will admit i cheated once in the first few days but each day its getting easier. For me it is 4 protein shakes, 8 ounces of chicken broth a day and sugar free jello and popsicles. My date is November 12th and I keep reminding myself when i want something that if I don't shrink my liver the surgeon won't do the surgery and I've come too far for that to happen. Good luck to everyone and let me add that all you guys post help me get thru this as well.....

Well its day 5 of the pre op liquid diet and I'm so hungry but hanging in there...hopefully November 12th comes fast!!!!!

Did everyone stick to the three week diet with no cheating? If i did eat something will it hurt me as long as i get back on track?

Anyone have any advice on this 3 week liquid diet? No warning they just called this afternoon and said start now.....

I got my approval today!!!!!!! November 12th but I had to start a 3 week pre op diet today....

My paperwork was submitted but i haven't done the egd test yet. Do they do this after your approved?

Anyone know how long it takes for them to approve the surgery? It's been two weeks already....
