  2. Are you talking about the wrap? I wore mine for about 2-3 weeks. Just this last week I stopped.

  11. Today I'm four weeks post op. I had my surgery Oct 2. I feel amazing and blessed to have done this. I never really take full body shots of myself in the past, but I had one sorta. Last night I got to shop for a new pair of jeans and for the first time it wasn't at lane Bryant or the plus size section. I've been loosing more inches this past two weeks and anyway. Was able to wear a size 12 in jeans from American Eagle! ( I actually got to buy it off the rack) I feel amazing. Heres a before and after picture. Hope everyone is doing just as good!! My face looks so thin and not two chins! Lol.

  16. Good luck to everyone! I hope everyone is doing good. I had my follow up today with my doctor/nutritionist and I was so excited to hear 19 days post and I'm at 185 now. I feel great and they said it was time to step up my meals a day. Try to get to 6 small meals instead of three. I hope everyone is doing good. The journey is 100% worth it!
  17. Ya, it should be fine. I can't go back for four weeks cause I left over 20 pds. But if I was at a desk I'd be good.

  21. I had this. I asked my doctor and he said its just my insides healing. He said keep in mind that they went through a muscle wall and moved organs up. That was also the side my stomach came out of. It will go away. I'm almost three weeks post op and I woke up a day ago and it was just gone. He recommended having a body pillow for comfort. It helped.
  22. I woke up feeling awful. I'm burping up this yellow acid and my head is killing me. Anyone else have this?
  23. Happy two weeks!!! I'm sure everyone is excited about eating puréed foods today!! I know this girl is! I'm going to make me a egg white with fat free cheese this morning, and egg and chicken of the sea mix for lunch with fat free mayo and white bean chili for dinner!! Can't wait to hear how everyone is doing!
  24. Hope everyone is doing good! Tomorrow will be two weeks since my surgery. I'm feeling good, some pain in my left side here an there. Doc said its normal that's we're my stomach is healing. I wish everyone best of luck. It's an amazing journey that has had challenges. The liquid diet for two weeks pre op and then two weeks post op is not easy. Just try to keep the faith and know it will all pay off. I get to move to puréed foods tomorrow and I'm excited for this next step. Just remember. We didn't put the weight on over night, and it will take time to see it come off. We will enjoy food again, just with smarter choices and smaller portions. I'm trying to stay positive and enjoy my journey! Best of luck everyone!
  25. Going insane!! I'm hungry!! I know I start puréed Wednesday, but I'm making some white bean chili right now. It's low fat it's for me to eat this week. It's got onion, celery, ground turkey, white navy beans that soaked all day and cooked out, two cups chicken stock ( no salt, low fat) and chili powder, and cumin. It smells amazing, and I'll settle for the broth tonight I guess! Booo, I want to blend it!! Help me!!
  26. I picked 125. He said cause I'm 5'2 it would be healthy.
  27. Well, hopefully you don't over do it. I think the worst I did was yesterday, we went to a pumpkin patch farm. I was so weak from being hungry and only drinking water I thought I was going to pass out. I was sitting down and everyone was eating hotdogs, cheeseburgers, ect. I had a piece of cheese off of my hubbies burger. Just the little bite and resting for about twenty minute of resting made a huge difference.
