My date is November 7 in Greenville, South Carolina I'd love to have a buddy!!!

It's great to see more starting to show up in here. I really wanted to get mine done so I can completely skip thanksgiving this year lol. So for the first time my daughter will be doing it. And I should be on solids by then. My daughter even went and got me a baby turkey plate to eat on lol.

I met with my surgeon on Sept 11 and it was submitted to my insurance that day. I called BCBS about 3 hours after my appt to see if it was submitted. They had received it and told me I would get a call by the end f the week to let me know if it was approved. My phone rang first thing the next day saying it was approved. Then my drs office called by lunch to give me my date. It's Nov 7 that was her first available date plus I have to do a 4 week liquid diet prior. But it all went supper quick. I went on August 21 for my consultation video and in 3 weeks time I had my surgery scheduled. I would contact your insurance company as soon as it is submitted and continue to stay in the loop. If Blue Cross. Blue Shields can approve mine in less than 5 hours I'm sure anyone can get it done.

I know what you mean. I was hoping for October but nothing was available. I wanted to be healed a little more and ready for thanksgiving but I'm just excited I have the date set

I literally just posted a topic to see if anyone was close to the upstate area. I'm having my surgery November 7th just got the date today! I'd love to see where everyone is from. I live in Travelers Rest basically Greenville.

Hi everyone I'm new here my name is Amy I am 37 years old have 4 children 2 girls age 20 and 10 and 2 boys age 17 and 15 and a gorgeous grandson who is 3 months old. I am married just celebrated 11 years on Saturday. As my name shows i am from Alabama I currently live in South Carolina where i have lived most of my life. I am 5'5 currently 243lbs. I was thin most of my life after my youngest was born I started gaining weight and then had to have a complete hysterectomy at age 29 then the weight really started coming on. I've done uncountable diets lost weight gained back more. I've reached the point where I can't even look Ina mirror I'm just so frustrated with myself and my weight. So finally I decided I've got to change so here I am. I cannot wait to start my new life.

Hi everyone I'm new here. I have been on the ryn forum because I was set on having gastric bypass but I met with my surgeon today for the first time and found out I cannot have the ryn due to having Chrone's. I can have the sleeve or band. I knew I did not want the band so my only choice is the sleeve. I know very little about this procedure. I am hoping I can get some good information here. The doctor submitted to my insurance today and I should know by Friday if its approved. So I need to cram as much as possible because I don't want to schedule the surgery and then find out its not what I want. So please help with what ever you can. I am going to spend the next few days reading everything I can on here. Thanks in advance for your help.
