  2. I looked on amazon and they have shampoo conditioner and a treatment. Which one are you using. Thanks
  3. Surgery was Thursday the 7th. It's been a rough go so far. Hoping today will be much better. I'm fighting dehydration and I'm looking at going back to ER today for fluids. I hope everyone else is doing great! I'm not regretting anything just gotta push through the rough spots and get to the other side! On a positive note I'm down right at 10 pounds in 3 days
  4. As of yesterday I'm up to 31.5 miles walked. It will be slow the next week due to surgery last Thursday. I'm still so excited to be doing a challenge!
  5. Current weight is 216.2 Only 10.2 pounds til Thanksgiving Goal!! Surgery was November 7
  6. I yesterday was my big day! Over all it was good with a few pot holes in the road but I survived.l am just about packed up to head home. Drinking is pretty slow I've maybe got 5 ounces in so far. I'm sure each day will get easier. I've been walking like crazy so I'm not having slot of gas pain now. I look forward to try to sleep in my bed tonight.
  7. It's getting sooooo close I am so ready for Thursday. I've been cleaning all day and I am due for a rest so I'm headed to get a pedicure. How is everyone else doing?

  10. This will be my first time joining in My surgery is Nov 7 so I'm going to make a reachable goal. I think this is awesome and it will motivate me!! I'm going to say walk 45 miles. I'm so excited lol I don't think I have ever used that word to describe exercising!!
  11. Yeah I know it's crazy! My WBC is still high as hell so they are running a lot of test and scans. I'm just keep positive and try not to have a mental break down I'm sure when I have my pre op blood work done my surgeon will **** when she's see my WBC. It's going to be a fun week around here
  12. That's so awesome!!! I had my 1 year cancer check this morning at 9! I'm going to be stressed for the next week til I go back and hopefully get good news. I think I may be a pint low on blood lol they took 14 tubes today. I go back Monday to get results and then get sleeved on Thursday. So happy for your good report.

  16. Sorry I've been so worn out and lack of energy since being on opti fast. I've got 2 weeks done 2 more to go!!! Surgery is 3 weeks from today. I'm ready for this part to be over. How is everyone else doing. Where do we email for the FB Private Group? I was setting one up but since it's already done lets get everyone added!
  17. My approval took 1 day. I did call my insurance company the day it was submitted to make sure they had it and I requested o get a call once a decision was made. I got a call the next morning and the dr office called after lunch to give me my date. I am not very patient so I probably would have called everyday to check on it
  18. I'm on Opti Fast now Day 6 of my pre op diet only 26 more!

  22. Gas X Strips and moving is what I was told. Hope it gets better soon.
  23. It looks like we are going to have a good group. It's going to be very beneficial to all of us. We can keep this group going and always be able to come in and post questions since we are all having the surgery one right after the other! I'm so excited to have so many people in here. There are few like me having surgery the first week so we will be able to help with questions and to give you an idea what our hospital stay and pain etc. Oh I just wanted to see if your up for using our real first name. If your not comfortable that's perfectly fine. I will start my name is Amy!!!!
