  1. I use the my fat secret and love it. Keeps up with fat, carbs, protein and calories right on the home screen. And a daily weigh in with graph to show progress.
  2. I had to get daily injections to thin my blood for one month after surgery. Was having hot flashes and night sweats. Not any more! I used to freeze the rest of family. Not anymore! Glad I'm not the only one.
  3. Yes i use protein. Right now I am using the pre op protein shakes, hot chocolate, pudding (thin). I was actually able to get all my protein and liquids in yesterday. I still weigh the same as when I had the surgery, but I know that having surgery and being put to sleep and on iv's will take a little while to get out of my system. But I would still like to have some kind of loss when I go for my 2 week checkup.
  4. Surgery on 10/21. It went very well. Had nausea first 2 days when I got up to go to bathroom. After that it subsided. Can definately tell if I swallow too big a sip. Just have to slow down. My liquids, which I am rotating for variation, are G2, chicken boullion, jello, popsicles. Seems to be working so far. Just hard to get all the liquid in. I guess that just comes with time and practice. Feeling like I made a great decision in having the surgery.
