  1. Mine also itch. Mostly around where the bandages have been. I took my bandages off today(11 days post op) all except for the incision where the drain was so hopefully it will get better. Itchy, itchy! Lol

  6. No there was no one that I had met having it done while I was there. Can I ask what makes you go with the rny over the sleeve? Just curious.

  9. I had surgery with Dr. Ortiz this past Sunday and can't say enough good about him or the nursing staff. They were fantastic!!! I am feeling great and would highly recommend him. He has done over 600 surgeries this year alone and he certainly is certified!
  10. Alright first morning post op and slept ok off and on through out the night. Pain isent to bad just the gas in uncomfortable. Walk, walk, walk and some gas x strips help. Still chewing on ice chips. Will be glad to drink water and juice later today after my leak test. Good luck to all getting sleeves today!
  11. Hey all. Just wanted to update. Had surgery around 4 and I'm doing ok. Some gas pain in chest and stomach but not horribly unbearable. Taken a couple Gas X strips and they do seem to help along with my walking. Nurses, doctors and all staff here at the Mi hospital. Can't complain at all. Still feeling a little loopy and going to go get some sleep but wanted to fill you all in!
  12. Well the storms in Colorado yesterday delayed all flights and I wasn't able to get my flight into San Diego so stayed in Denver last night and fly in around noon today and go directly to Mi Hospital from there. I'm assuming by the time pre-op testing is done it might be supper time or so by the time I get into surgery. Will keep you informed when I can!
  13. Lol I definitely feel out of sorts and just plain tired!! I fly out at 10:30 tomorrow morning Sinai suppose I should at least go pack my suitcase now lol
  14. Sorry I just reread your message and I'm sorry I realized you did name your surgeon. Don't mind me- I have liquid diet brain lol
  15. I don't even know how to quote but hope I get the invite lol
