I'll give it a try. I'm not fond of the smell but I would do anything to stop or curb my allergies. I'm not a smoker but I have asthma and know all about the coughing. I was told all my life I would grow out of them but the allergies have only gotten worse as I've grown older. Do you mix the oil with anything or do you spray it full strength? Thanks.

I have inndoor/outdoor allergies year round - some times they're not so bad and sometimes they are horrible. I'm currently on two different kinds of allergy med's 2X a day and am looking into shots. Because the stoma is small and only gets smaller with every fill I'm worried the drainage will be an issue. Has anyone had this issue??? Do you have lots of drainage and no problems? I know the band acts differently with everyone but I'm just curious.

Good job on not breaking into the bakery! I heard they start work early so if your going to hit them, do it at night! I'm waiting for a date yet but chapstick is a must for any surgery and ear plugs if you can stand them - hospitals are VERY noisy! I can't sleep in a hotel much less a hospital. Glad to hear about the pre-op diet going well. Right now that's all I'm worried about. Good luck!

Celebrate cheap! Go for a walk in the snow - look at lights in different neighborhoods this year! Hand make gifts or do something extra special as your gift - clean out his vehicle, give him a nice massage, Classic movie night (especially the ones he likes) etc......... Maybe decorating with what you have will bring in the Christmas spirit and make you feel better. Everyone falls off the wagon - run and jump back on! Don't beat your self up.

I am trying to figure out a Protein drink I can tolerate prior to pre-op diet and surgery but am having no luck. I'm a Water and Ice Tea drinker - I don't like thick, gritty, protein smelling shakes/drinks!! As in they make me gag. I have ordered the sampler from the Isopure people and was wondering if there's anything else out there I should look into. Suggestions are much appreciated. Thanks.

I think this is perfectly normal to stress over because it is all so new and daunting. You can do it - one day at a time. This is what I'm going to tell myself when I get my surgery date! LOL

A lot of surgeons give a high protein/low carb liquid diet prior to surgery to shrink the liver. Do a search on pre-op diet and it should bring up some more info. I know you can do this!
