  1. You are not alone. I am 4 weeks out and have lost 19lbs since surgery. The doctors told me I will lose about 10-14lbs the first week but that didn't happen. I get frustrated occasionally but I am trying to remain focused and trust the process. I really did have this illusion that the weight would start falling off. Not so much!
  2. Macy6 you are so encouraging! I needed to hear from someone that knows. Will you tell me what types of protein you eat daily to reach your 70-80g? Thanks.
  3. I'm still doing pureed foods as well. All I can say, is protein, protein, protein.
  4. Loved Dr. Valenzuela and Dr. Cabrera! The staff was amazing!
  5. I had mine on September 26th and feel great. I was so surprised on how great I would feel after only one week. So excited as to what the future holds!

  7. Hello, I am new as well and I will be having my gastric sleeve on Thursday, September 26th. I'm feeling mixed emotions as well. I'm excited at what the future holds for me, but I am very nervous about the surgery itself. This is such a huge step and one I have waited a long time for. I'm 5'3" and 270lbs. I look forward to seeing a new me at about 135???? One can only hope. I wish you all the luck on your new journey. We can do this!
