Surgery on 10/03/13 Day of surgery 189 Current weight 165

My husband said " honey your double chin is gone!" I still took it as a compliment lol

I did not have any sort of preop diet

I was 189 day of surgery. I am 5'1" and approved with MULTIPLE commorbitities. I am 6 days post op and as of yesterday I weigh 182!

Anyone else have this?

Update: I had my sleeve done thursday morning! Very hard at first lots of pain meds:) second say I got a fever and so much pain so here I am another night. So far everything is ok. I expected to feel very ful after fews sips of liquid but instaed I get pain and hiccups. Wondering if these things are normal?

On my way to hospital now! Check in is 530am. Sooooo excited and nervous:)

My sugery is on the 3rd and I cannot believe its really happening! I started this journey in october of last year and was planning for a lap band before getting denied twice. I changed jobs and insurance in april and decided to try one more time and this time for the sleeve:) I was approved! I know this is going to be life changing and I am so excited. Good luck to all my fellow october sleevers.

Yes my bmi is 36. My doctor does not require a preop diet no matter what bmi you are though. I thougjt it was strange toi since the first doc I chose did require a two week one. But when I changed doctors I was told no diet!

I was never placed on a liquid diet but I admire all of you who are going through it!

8 more days till the new me! Getting nervous but super excited!

That's cool. I guess there are a few of us that lived or have lived in this cold tundra "north dakota" haha
