Your dr knows what to write/submit to insurance companyYep. The Dr knows all the tricks. Actually it would be great if you COULD plead your case. The absolute truth with all the pain and setbacks and medical complications should make a persuasive story. Might as well leave out the part about your sadness and disappointment. That doesn't seem to move insurance companies. Good luck!

Good for you! I got so hungry today I had a sandwich WITH bread :/(. I am really really hoping I will not be so hungry after the surgery. I have dropped about 2-3 pounds on the pre diet.

Wow! 8 pounds is so great!! I think I have lost 2. I'm at 218. I weighed 110-120 most of my life. I want to Lise 100 lbs. who knows. Maybe...

I envy your enthusiasm. I was excited at first but it has been 6 months. Now I just want to get it over with. I will get excited when I start losing weight though. I'm on a pre op 2 shapes and one meal a day diet, weigh 218 now. I'm being sleeved at Methodist Williwbrook. How about you?

Why Conroe? Is your job there? Conroe is about 25 miles from Houston. My dr is Turnquest, about halfway between Houston and Conroe. I will be sleeved in late Feb or March. Waiting on approval. Don't know how Conroe is for singles??

Hey congratulations! That is a great date! I really hope to be the first half of Feb as well. Haven't heard yet. You must be very excited!!

We WILL do it! I'll get my daughter to help. She knows how to do that stuff. Shall we call it: February 2014 Bariac Surgery Group There are still people having other types of surgery and we might lure a few of them too! I'll make some flyers and take them to the hospital when I go AND I'll take some to Dr T's office. My friend Diana gets so much out of her group. Mrslb5: looks like we will both be Feb's. I should be hearing 15-20th of Jan. my friend had hers with Dr T in Sept and is doing great. Her group has a Facebook group. I really hope we do that as well!

22pounds! Congratulations. Probably u will lose really unevenly. I try to look at the plateaus as "cementing" in the new weight! Keep us posted!
