  5. You are using the whey Protein blend though. The blend isnt the same as the isolate. With the blend you are not actually getting the protein they advertise because its the blend. You will need to look it up but the net protein is actually lower. Instead of it being 30g ur actually only geting something like maybe 20g. The isolates arewhat u need.to stick to. You can discuss it with ur NUT but they will tell u the same. I used the blend too until i was told different. Good luck I just doubled checked the label & It is whey protein isolate. 30grams of protein in 1 scoop. This was discussed w/ my nut as well.
  6. Lol!!! I go to the Walmart in Carroll Island & they never have the vanilla just chocolate. Glad I know there is more flavors out. It might have been on sale for $15.
  7. Yup....Wal-Mart for about $20. I literally ready every review and the only 2 negative were because they don't like the flavor. But I love the flavor and even the smell of it!! Already finished 6oz another 6 by the end of the day and I'm goin to feel great! I have body fortress chocolate & it is pretty good. I wasn't able to tolerate it pre surgery. I got a tub at Walmart for about $15.
  8. I've read that if you swallow the gum it can cause blockage at small intestines. It does not digest like normal food.

  20. During 1st week the nurse told me to mix with jello or the night before next dose break capsules apart in a cup of water & let it sit over night & drink in morning. Ewe terrible taste. Now I take capsule apart & dump in mouth & swallow w/ water. Wait a min then take the 2nd one. Works better for me this way.
  21. I am taking prilosec. Ive gotten heartburn really badly a few times so I just take it every day until I start eating something besides Clear Liquids. Hoping when I add actual foods that it will tone down some. But things like crystal light that normally didn't give me heartburn have set my chest on fire lately. My surgeon put me on Prilosec as well for 3 months. I though all surgeons prescribe that to reduce all the acid & prevent ulcers.
  22. I'm feeling great! Everything seems to be going smoothly. Some times I still get a discomfort at the larger incision site but don't need pain meds for it. Hope everyone is doing well. Happy 2 weeks!
  23. Maybe its too soon for me to speak on this but I was sleeved April 16th, 2 weeks post op tomorrow and my taste and smell has not changed.
