Does anyone have hidradenitis and has had gastric sleeve surgery i heard if you have hidradenitis they will postpone surgery is this true!?

My new doctor Cleared me for surgery and my surgeons office is submitting to my insurance ! ???????? i have BCBS Federal anyone with this insurance if so how long does it usually take for them approve or deny?

Ughh so mad! My doctor didnt clear me for my surgery!!! Idk what to do he says im young and can diet...

Well i still haven't submitted the paperwork in i am still getting all the pre approval requirements done i still need to see the nutritionist two more times i believe but hopefully all goes well and Fast lol.

Monday i will have my endoscopy, tuesday is my gallblader ultrasound and wednesday is my second appt with the nutritionist. im getting so anxious i just want to get approved and get a date for my surgery already ...hate all this pre op approval proccess

Hi, I am new to vst and also just started the process to get the vsg i want to know the requirements and steps to get approved for the surgery i have federal bcbs i live in Ri I will be having my surgery at the roger Williams hospital.
