  1. I'm 68 yrs old and had my Sleeve on Sept 16th. Ive had a few issues such as diareah but it does seem to be getting better now that I started the Puree portion of the diet. It is so exciting to have "normal" foods even though they are pureed. (By the way, the only pain I experienced through the entire hospital stay and after was when they put the IV in me prior to surgery!!) I do get lightheaded when I get up in the mornings but all is ok after I get some protein in my body. Life is good and only getting better!
  2. Nice topic, huh? I'm 6 days out from my sleeve. Everything went well. No pain. One concern since I've been home. Finally popping but it is in the form of the word I misspelled above. Anyone else have this issue?
  3. I am an Az Sleever. At least I will be after Sept 16. I'm Having mt surgery at Banner Gateway Medical Center with Dr Podkameni. Where are you?
  4. My surgery date is Sept 16, too. I'm anxious but excited to start this new journey! Lets compare how we are doing!
  5. 49er. How much do you have to lose?
  6. I started this journey 8 months ago and my surgery is scheduled Sept 16. I won't bore you with all the details and frustrations. Im just glad I'm of sound mind and can advocate for myself in this medical world. My concern is my age. I am 68 and would like to hear from folks my age I'm going to have the sleeve.
