I am feeling much better also, but I wasn't thinking when I posted this I also had my gallbladder out at surgery so I am sure some of my pain is coming from that too. My scale sucks so I am not sure how much weight I have lost yet Friday is a full week from surgery and I see my doctor on Monday so I will know then exactly how much weight I have lost . Btw good job on the 11 pounds and protein shakes are very tasty try the premade ones they seem more tolerable for my anyways. Are you eating at all? I am on nothing but shakes and liquids for two weeks.

well hopefully we can find something I have been searching everywhere I will let you know if I find anything. How is everything else going for you so far?

Thank you I will look into those shakes. It does seem like the ones that are premade taste better. I also have noticed if I am laying down the gas pains are better but I am a mom and the kids are home today so I haven't been able to lay down much. Good luck to you also

I had my surgery done November 8th In Providence RI

Hi everyone, I just had my surgery and I think I am doing well so far. Good luck to other November sleevers. Hopefully we can help one another out. I have my family but they don't completely understand the changes and such hoping to find others to talk to and help one another get through this hard time. looking forward to making some new friends

I am hoping so I mean I'm up and about, but the gas pains are horrible. What kind of shakes are you drinking, I have tried a few different ones and the make me sick. I am choking them down and it sucks. If you can let me know where to get some shakes that taste better I would so appreciate it.

Hello Everyone, I was hoping someone might be able to give me a round about as to when the gas might subside. I was in the hospital for 2 days seemed like it was doing better. Now I am home on day four and I can't stand the gas pains. I am up walking around and such as much as I can but it doesn't help at all. Also I have tried quite a few different shakes and I can not find one that doesn't make me want to vomit. I live in Rhode Island and the closest health store is GNC all they really sell it seems is whey Protein I tried those before my surgery and they made my stomach turn. So I went and bought some others and those also make me sick. Please if anyone knows ones that might be able to order online or something like that I would appreciate it. One other thing is my scale says I have gained weight and this is not helping my confidence level it is kind of making me depressed and wonder if I made the right choice.

I was told before to wait at least a week after my endoscopy(which is my last test) so I'm figuring I will call my doc on the 27th of this month and see what they say then Im going to wait 3 days once the paper work is submitted to the insurance company and call them because that is the longest waiting period hoping if I show them how much I need this they will approve it quickly so I can be in surgery by September..And good luck with your journey also

As of the 20th I will have done all pre req's for the surgery anyone have any idea once all testing is done how long it will take my surgeon to submit to my insurance?
