  1. Thank You All For Your Encouragement......It Really Does Help Me Feel Like Things Will Get Better. Right Now I Think My Biggest Struggle Is Feeling Thirsty And Not Being Able To Satisfy The Thirst. I "Sip Sip Sip" As Much As Possible, But Its Really Not Satisfying, In Fact Its More Of A Tease. I've Tried Popsicles, But Really They Make Me More Thirsty. Any Ideas? Those That Are Further Out From Surgery, Have You Found That You ARe Able To Drink Enough To Quench Your Thirst, How Long Did It Take To Get To That Point? Again Thanks For All The Feedback I Really Appreciate It!
  2. I had sleeve surgery on july 23 2013. After completing the required 6 month physican supervised diet, and research the pros and cons of the sleeve I was positive that I made the right decision. Now 2 weeks post op I feel like it was the worst decision of my life. I'm so tired all of the time, and sooooooooooo thirsty. I've had to go to the hospital twice for iv fluids because I fell too full and nauseous that I'm not getting enough fluids, which is making getting the Protein in difficult. My surgeon says this is just a ''bump in the road'' and prescribed me two different antinausea medications All I want to do is lay in bed, I'm so unhappy. I would have gladly lived with the medical issues due to being overweight, than live like this. Has anyone had similar feelings/experiences......what helped?
