Stockton here ... Surgery is January 8th at Methodist in Sacramento... My surgeon is dr Eslami... I hear nothing but good things about him... Nervous about my pre op diet starting day after x mas... Good luck all!!!

Dr. Eslami is very down to earth and nice. He is very strict about how he wants his patients to be on a strict diet and how they care for themselves afterwards. Im really happy he will be my surgeon. Hills had me do: 6 month weigh ins, upper gi or (endoscopy), pap smear, blood work, chest x ray, psych eval., and i cant think of anything else. LOL I have high BP, mid-high Cholesterol, and my BMI is over 40 so I qualified for it. If your BMI is over 40 they usually will approve it with everything done. Good Luck!! My Surgeon is Dr. Eslami. He is going to be performing the surgery at Methodist and its through Hills Physicians Insurance...Glad to see I got some response to this post...

Yay congrats... I also have a 16 month old and three older ones from 3-11... I have a supportive family and am so excited... I'm getting sleeved on January 8th!! Can't wait!! Good luck!!!!

I finally got my date of January 8th for surgery. I cant wait and am looking forward to it. Does anyone know if there is a January 2014 group? I would make a group but I wouldnt be able to keep tabs on it...

Hi everyone... I'm hoping that my insurance will approve me for the sleeve... My dr just put in the claim last Friday and were hoping for December 18th!! I can't wait to feel energized and healthy... It'll be tough but I'm up for the challenge... Right now I'm 5'3" and 253... My goal is about 150... I have four kids to keep up with and losing weight will sooo help me!! Good luck to you all!!
