Hi all, I am new to the group and anxious to get started. I am very excited about future surgery. I have just started the process. I am diabetic so I am very interested to know if there are other Bansters who either were or are diabetic and if it has helped their health. I am not sure who my surgeon will be as I am getting a another opinion. The first doctor wants me to have a bypass instead. He has not yet done a Lap Band surgery but is a Vascular surgeon who has done many bypsses. I don't really want the invasiveness of bypass surgery. Please give me opinions and advice.:omg:

I have not yet experienced Lap Band surgery, but hope to in the next few months. I am very excited, but want to know all aspects of the surgery itself and it's after effects. I realize each person experiences differences but please share with me what it has done for you.
