  1. I was sleeved 7/23/2013 and am diabetic too! Weight is coming off slowly, but I have to be very cautious with carbs and sugars. My weightloss has improved since going back on my meds (metformin, 500mg 2x daily) and I'm exercising 5 days a week now. I try to eat lots of protein and usually drink a protein shake for breakfast. I eat fish, turkey, chicken but no beef. Snacks consist of string cheese, almonds and SF pudding. (sometimes beef jerky). Eating between 600- 800 calories per day, but I feel hungry a lot too. May increase protein this week.
