  1. Your post made me smile! I am 6 weeks post op and had a goal to lose 50 pounds by my birthday. I lost 20 pre op and have lost 26 post op, so far! My birthday is in 5 weeks so I am hoping to reach my goal early, as well! 4 more pounds to reach my goal! My next goal is to be down a total of 75 pounds by Christmas. Wishing you the best of luck on your continued weight loss!
  2. I was sleeved on a Tuesday, presented a workshop on Saturday and began teaching on Monday. Saturday was a little rough, but was fine by Monday. I was just a little sore at that point and didn't do much reaching and bending to the ground.
  3. I have survived 4 days of my 4 week liquid diet and it gets easier each day! My biggest concern is that my surgery date is one week before school starts. I will have my room ready and will have weeks worth of lessons completed, but I am concerned that I may not feel ready. I teach Special Education and fear missing the first few days. I teach HS at a career center so ALL of the students are new to the school and they are always nervous. Did anyone go back to school after a week?
