I'm being sleeved on Friday the 23rd....I'm so excited to begin this part of my journey however I'm feeling nervous at the same time. How are you feeling? Is this normal?

Hi Mira Congrats on your approval. I too live in New Jersey and am scheduled for surgery on Aug 23rd. I would love to be teammates and get through this together. I have never had surgery either and must admit I'm a bit nervous but I want this so bad nothing is going to stop me this time. Last year in July I was scheduled to have the lap band inserted and for some reason I changed my mind and cancelled it a few weeks before. I'm so glad I did becuase after doing further research I realized the SLEEVE is the way to go for me and my personality. Where in New Jersey are you from, who is your doctor, what hospital?? Maria

I quit almost two years ago using Chantix and since then I never really wanted to start again. I tried quitting so many times before I used Chantix andeach time I failed. To me it was step one of three to a healthier me. Stick with it Chantix workes if you want it to work......you can do it...remember the greater good!!! My surgery is going to be on Aug 23. YOU CAN DO THIS!!!!!

Sorry to hear about your kidney stones. My surgery is scheduled for next month. I was wondering how many weeks did you do liquid diet before surgery.

I'm ready can't wait for this day to come!!! August 23rd will begin a new era for me.
