  1. Hey determined, I'm from Dayton. Im having surgery on July 30 and i have people in my house that are going thru the process with me in order to learn how to support me but i also have someone who prepares my meals for me that sometimes tries to sabotage my efforts but that's when my real supporters step in and speak up. I'm disabled with mobility issues so it's very hard for me to stand and walk. My niece and nephew eat what i eat. They want to be healthy so they are starting now so that they dont become like me. I think one person in a household making changes is a recipe for failure especially if the household is on a limited income. If everyone makes the switch to a healthier lifestyle it's easier because everyone is supportive of one another and you don't have to buy different meals for everyone. Chances are if it's in the house you're going to eat it so just don't purchase anything unless it's healthy. I hope this helps a little.
