  6. Hey Sara - my insurance covers this but I feel your pain with the infertility. I am still paying off my IVF. My husband and I struggled for a long time but we were blessed with children so keep working on it. I now have four crazy kids and a heap of credit card bills but I wouldn't change it for the world. As for the friend thing - I couldn't speak to my best friend for two weeks after she announced she was pregnant. I wanted so much to be happy for her but she told me on a day that I found out I wasn't. anyway, enough about me. keep you chin up and look into what Mrs Fuller said. Stress is a big factor in weight gain AND infertility so try and reduce yours. Best of luck to you. I'll keep you in my prayers

  9. If I have to quit soda forever, I'm pretty sure that cigarettes are a no-no. And I won't comment on the other.
  10. What a fantastic post!! I hope to be a week or two behind you. Will find out Wednesday. But your story is so similar to mine, it was like reading my thoughts. I HATE being the fat mom. And I don't even want to look at photos of myself. Keep us posted - I'm rooting for you!

Hi SarahBeth - I'm still pre-procedure but I do have a lot of experience with BC as well as fertility drugs. Sounds to me like you've got a double-whammy: your body is adjusting to a major surgery as well as re-aligning your hormones to compensate for no BC. I think you should cut yourself some slack and realize what a big accomplishment you've achieved. Don't worry about the dogs - they have unconditional love for you Why not try a hot bath and a good book or some really bad reality TV? I recently bought my kids a bracelet-making craft kit and I am surprised at how much it relaxes me to do. What do you like? I have a ton of authors I can recommend or some really fun Apps. I know you're still recovering or I would suggest you take a walk. Feel better - you're doing great!!!
  18. Looking Great!!!! Keep it up.
  19. I've got a few last minute approvals to get - Psychologist, Dietician and do a Sleep apnea test. Then I'm ready to go! I'm hoping to get a Sept date as I'm on vacation in Disney in August. I considered moving my trip but my kids would have killed me! This is all so scary but it feels right. I've been fighting this monster for long enough and need the help. I wish you both the best.
  20. Congratulations!! I'm one step behind you. Hoping to get an early Sept. date. Hang in there with the diet - you'll do great in the surgery.
