Its funny I hear alot of others say no carbonation at all but my dr is a specialist at only performing these surgeries and she told me I could have anything I wanted of course in moderation and also if I drank soda some tolerate it some dont she said never drink from a can always pour it over ice dont drink it from a straw stir it after pouring and then consume it about 5 min after pouring said Id be fine...im only 28 and wine n drinks with the girls has always been pleasurful im just hoping not all things have to change...
  4. 10/21/13 sleeved SW 246 CW 218 GW 150-160 been having a hard time with liquid was supposed to start pureed yesterday but do to all the vomiting I came to the ER to get liquids to buy me some time...supposed to start soft foods next week hopefully im up for it...at least by thanksgiving im hoping to at least have some beans or something good...anyway I was tolerating things well until I guess I took too much of a swig of water and got myself into trouble...it is so hard to sip anything especially ice water...it is so good...but it has been hard missing out on margarita night and having wine ugh...but the weight loss I cant complain about...anyone else have trouble with foam and vomiting

What im wondering is will you always have to sip anything that you drink...do some of you pre sleevers drink soda over ice out a glass with no problems and how long did it take you before you could tolerate it...Also are any if you still able to have margaritas on dollar night lol...im just worried that all the things that gave me a lil comfort and happiness I wont be able to do...someone pls enlighten me
  6. Thanks ladies I'm trying I'm just tired of the nausea I'm supposed to start puréed tomorrow but I think I'm going to stick to liquids for another week or two...I hope it does get better

So I had my operation on th 21st of Oct...some days I can deal but most days I cant...Ive by retching up everything even when I wake up in the morning Im nauseated and dry heave a lil...went to see my Dr she said everything was fine but it was possible that I took a bigger drink of something had a lil too much...heck if I sip any slower...I didnt think that it would be like this...very agitated at this point wondering what I got myself into...has anyone else gone thru this and tell me that it will get better...2 weeks tomorrow...

  10. I was sleeved on 10/21 im going back to work on 10/31 ive been to the pumpkin patch and all walking and doing things as if nothing happened...I also had a hatial hernia repaired as well
  11. Bought one today...does anyone else have one and use it for a daily superfood drink...if so does it work...any info would be great...sleeved on 10/21 and wanting to go into this new life feeling as great as possible
