Home and feeling so much better!!! I must say....not nearly as bad as I thought it was going to be!!! Ivan having slight pain but its more of a discomfort then anything!!!

When anyone Had the steri strips did they ever get bloody? And did you take your bandaids off them? I took off the bandaids after I took a shower for the first time so they didn't get all wet and gross. The one that's the ugliest is where they took my stomach. Just dried blood around it but just wondering thanks!

Yes I am still here and I had it done at 9 am on Thursday and I am still here. I am glad I have been here due to any pain I've been having easily maintained! Every doctor is different

Tina I have one on my left side. Honestly you don't even know its there? It's to make sure you have no leaks in your sleeve. So that's not an ignorant question! Don't stress ! It's not a big deal its probably based on what the doctor wants.

Very cool!!! No has pains here!! They switched my pain meds at one point and thence just hurt they are taking me off it today!!!! Yay n do u have the tube in your belly??? Honestly is the worst part! That's really cool you guys did it together!!! Congrats!!! So glad were on the losers bench together!!!! Finally!!

I agree I've been getting up as much as possible to walk and that seems to really help!

Honestly tamra...all I feel a like some be kicked me in the gut!! Do I wanna feel like thatNO but WAY easier then I thought it would be!!!

It's really not that bad!!! I'm sore but not excruciating....I'm in my hospital bed now and wanted to do updates!!! Feeling great! It was scary waiting for the doctor more then it was once I was awl wake!! Tomorrow starts liqueds!!! Eek! Hopefull elall my other 8/1 sleeve buddies are doing well!!! Prayers your way

The time has come!!!! Leaving shortly and just want this to be over!!! Getting nervous!!!

2hours and 45 minutes and I will be in surgery!!!!!! So scared!!!!

Well everyone I am up and ready to go!! Leaving for hospital in 10 minutes!!!! Nervous as HELL and wish it was a week from today so this was over!!!! See you on the sleeves side!!!

Thank you so much this is why I love this site....we all have the same anxiety and it make me feel better to know I am not alone!!! This time tomorrow we will be on the losers bench!!!! Got my patch behind my ear and pushing through!!! Without love and support from those who are also going through this I can't imagine how I would feel!!!! I'm having second thoughts I need some support i am scared to death I am going to die!!!! But I am young and should heal quickly!!!! I have been crying all day of the fear of the pain....nausea.....and blood clots!!!!!

Why does that make u wanna curl up?? I would snuff that negative criticism off!!! Just because we had surgery doesn't mean we don't have taste buds!! It's all about portion size and our new tool is there to guide us!!!! Best wishes friend!! I feel your pain!!

You are so right!!! I am so nervous though UGH so hearing that just increased my anxiety!
