  5. I colored mine 2 weeks after surgery. No problems here. You must color your hair and you MUST wear mascara at all times! Lol.

  9. You really need to try to walk. Believe it or not, it WILL help relieve that gas pain. I just made little circles arounbeef the first day, then my room, then the family room, etc. I hope you feel better soon.
  10. I'm glad you asked this question. Thank you. I was sleeved 5/29. I've lost total of 53lbs (that's including 20 dieing the 2week pre-op liquid diet). I have noticed this week it has been hard to get in ask the protein & I feel so tired. I audio only lost 3 pounds last week. Thanks to all these replies, I WILL get it all in moving forward! :-)

  12. They do offer one hour free with a trainer when you join but how will I ever remember all that? Lol. I went in yesterday to check it out & get prices. I have to say I didn't like the feeling in there. How much do you all pay for gym membership.

  20. I just suggested the staff at the hospital could help her with arrangements because I know they are very concerned for her well-being.

  24. I tried yoga last week! I had my Achilles repaired last September so I couldn't do more than half of the class Thanks everyone for your advice. I have a treadmill at home but it gets boring.
  25. My sister in law had the sleeve done in Mexico & I know the hospital/clinic were VERY caring. Have you thought of asking them to make some of those arrangements for the trip back home? like the shuttle, wheelchair, getting to the gate, etc?
  26. In the meantime, wear Spanx! I have been experiencing similar pain from what I'm guessing is the skin pulling down on my belly. I wear the Spanx for support more than for looks & it REALLY helps!
  27. Hey everyone. I'm 5 weeks post-op and want to start the gym but I'm very intimidated. I've never been a workout kinda girl, but I feel that person in me What is the best way to get started? I can't afford a trainer but I don't want to look like a fool of I go. Help.
