  1. I was shopping in kohls today and decided to buy 2 shirts for myself. I bought a large from the misses dept thinking it would be small, but fit in a month or two. Well, when i got home, I tried them on and they actually FIT!!! I was soooo excited! I can't remember the last time I bought something from the misses dept and not the plus size dept. anyway, I just felt the need to share my victory!
  2. Awesome! Good for you!
  3. Mine was actually a leak, but the symptoms sound similar.
  4. I'm so jealous of everyone. I had my surgery on July 29th and was doing great, then 2 weeks after the surgery I developed a leak. I didn't need another surgery, which I am very thankful for, but I have been on IV antibiotics and nourishment for the past 2 weeks and still have 2 more weeks to go. I can't eat or drink anything until my sleeve is completely healed. The only thing I'm allowed is minimal ice chips. I'm still glad I did this for myself and my family. I'm looking at this as a bump in the road of my journey. Sent from my iPad using VST
  5. I was sleeved on July 29th. I'm on my fitness pal too and would love some friends from vst......my email is, presmariazoe@aol.com. Feel free to add me! Sent from my iPad using VST
  6. If anyone is struggling to remove the hospital tape residue, I read somewhere that eye makeup remover will work. Well, I tried it and it does the trick and it's gentle too! Sent from my iPad using VST
  7. It actually feels much better for me when the froth comes out. Sent from my iPad using VST
  8. I got mine 2 days after surgery too. The nurses at the hospital said it's very common and most likely from the stress and trauma on our bodies..... Sent from my iPad using VST
  9. I'm having the same problem. Sleeved on July 29th and today was the first day I felt kind of good. Still nauseous throughout the day and also have some frothing. It's a real struggle to get enough fluids in. Hang in there.......it will get better, or so I hear! Sent from my iPad using VST
  10. I am going through the same thing. My surgery was on July 29th. My sleeve was inflamed from the surgery causing everything to get stuck at the top and slowly dribble down. It was very painful and frustrating. I could only do ice chips the 2nd day too. I stayed an extra day in the hospital since I couldn't drink at all. The next day was slightly better and I went home. Every day seems a little better, but I am still having some frothing a couple of times a day. I was able to drink 28 oz of fluids today!!! Hang in there.....it will get better! I don't know about you, but when the froth comes up, it's such a relief and I feel soooo much better. Sent from my iPad using VST
  11. Hi all. I had my surgery on July 29th and I'm doing ok. Had to stay an extra day in the hospital because I couldn't swallow anything without excruciating gas pain! Came home yesterday and doing better today. I have been having frothing. Anyone else having this problem out there? It's very annoying and keeps me from drinking as much as I should!!! 12. I'm tomorrow too! Good luck to you.....sending prayers! Sent from my iPad using VST

  14. Getting ready for my surgery tomorrow! So excited and less nervous than I thought I would be. I guess I'm just really ready for this! Pre op diet went better than expected. I was hungry, but the protein shakes were filling. Keep me in your prayers!! Sent from my iPad using VST
