My story may be like other women of my age, a lot of my weight came about after settling down and having my two sons and getting comfortable in my lifestyle. I have been married for approx. 25 yrs to a very loving and supportive husband who maintains he is happy if I am happy. I love him to pieces but this was something that I needed to do to satisfy myself. I never had weight issues until later in life so about 20 yrs is about the timeframe it took me to get to where I am. I did a lot of research on the gastric sleeve and felt this was the option I wanted to go with. I am determined to do the right things to succeed so my journey begins 6/17/2013.
