  2. Im 4 months post op and i am wondering if having quinoa is ok. My Dr. wants me to stay away from grains but i heard that this one is suppose to be high in protein. Is that true? And im kind of getting bored with the chicken, fish, and yogurt. I need some ideas...
  3. I did wean myself off coffee and tea for my pre-op and even after my operation i still feel great. I drive for a living so i understand needing to stay awake. You can do it. Its only for a short period if your life. You can do it.
  4. Kchristian, I havent tried refried beans yet. Did try chicken salad. Also split pea soup. My doc told me that at this stage my diet should be mostly shakes and water. Puree food should be treated as a treat. Thats why i am bored with food. . I know it is a phase but seems like this is worst the being on a liquid diet. Lol
  5. Bloomingfaith, I am never hungry makes wanting to eat even harder. I have been losing weight. Shakes and water are mostly what i eat. I have had smoothies not alot but i have had them and they are good.
