  1. My first drink was a Bloody Mary a couple of weekends ago. Took me forever to finish it. We just did the New Orleans Red Dress Run yesterday & I sipped the endless beer they provided. I'm not supposed to drink until 6 months out so I'm not condoning it. Just thought I'd be honest since you asked.
  2. Woohoo! Locals! Picayune, MS here. I want to join the coffee club! Sleeved 6/6/13. SW: 230. CW: 194. 5' 3.5". How is everyone?
  3. You're in my backyard! Picayune here. We should do snack "lunch" one day.
  4. Hi Maureen, If you're not using the app called myFitnesspal I highly recommend it. It tracks your food / drink intake & exercise. I love it. It keeps me accountable. A stall is very common in weeks 3-6 & the alcohol & popcorn are very high in sugar/carbs. Log them in MyFitnessPal & see how your day totals up. My nutritionist said to stay under 800 calories, under 50 carbs, have at least 64oz of water & 75 or more grams of Protein.
  5. My son really wants to get into that! How competitive is your field. Any advice?
  6. 6/6/2013. I was telling another local we should all do lunch or something one day. We could all order one entree & split it. Lol
  7. Finally found somebody on here local! how neat! i highly recommend checking him out. When were you sleeved or are you a future sleever?
  8. Oh no, Jessie. I'm crying with you....sorry hon. ;.(
  9. Dr Matthew French with Why Weight / Surgical Specialists of Louisiana. What a hottie! Lol
  10. Where is this whole food store? I'm in the Deep South, right on the LA/MS state line
  11. I'd call the surgeon's office to see about possibly getting on antibiotics. I started feeling icky right before my surgery & ended up almost getting pneumonia after my surgery. They didn't cancel my surgery but all that coughing (& peeing) wasn't fun with a sore tummy. If they can nip it in the bud before that would be ideal. The Airborne & stuff is a great idea though.
  12. Hello from South MS! Hope your adventure is a good one. ;0)
  13. A stall between weeks 3-6 is VERY common. I think I read on here somebody said "it's your body wondering if this is another fad diet and holding out until you prove to it that this is the new normal".
  14. I get a sugar free sno-ball often after my evening work outs as a treat! Yummy & hydrating without the sugar / dumping scare
  15. I ate Popeye's mashed Potatoes & Gravy and Red Beans (no rice) for like 2 whole weeks. I would swing by Popeyes almost every other day & get a large of both.
  16. Please add me. SW: 230 (6/6/2013) CW: 195 (8/7/2013) 5' 3.5"
  17. OMG! I'm like a kid with a new toy! THANK YOU!
  18. Accounting for NASA. SW: 230 (6/6/2013) CW: 195 (8/7/2013)
