  1. Ok so, Im getting sleeved in a week from today..My biggest problem is that I snack during the day..I have an office position which has me chained to a desk for 8 hrs. This has been my biggest problem. Obviously I have stopped doing this prior to surgery so my mind is right but Im afraid of old habits resurfacing after surgery. Are there any healthy snacks you guys can recommend after Im all healed? If I never ate a sugary treat the rest of life, id be fine with it, its the salty treats that do it in for me! ugh! Please help! Thanks!
  2. Ohh you poor thing!!! I cannot even imagine! your husband is a good guy, mine would have cried like a baby LOL..Im glad your feeling better now
  3. you guys are awesome! I was feeling so overwhelmed and anxious but this helps a lot, knowing Im not the only one takes so much pressure off me. Its fear of the unknown, it was driving me nuts! I wish you all the best of luck! I hope we all have great success!
  4. First off, thank you all so very much for replying to my post, I cannot tell you how much it helps! I sit here all 240lbs of me being uncomfortable in my own skin but yet the fear of the unknown is what is eating at me. I don't know what to expect except what I have been told and or read on here. I just don't want to spend the rest of my life throwing up or being nauseous ...I have been trying to program myself to eat smaller portions now, chew chew chew and replace my normal bacon, egg and cheese with a protein shake, its been tough, I wont lie but its what I need to do to start living my life..because up until this point, its been crummy! I will be thinking of all you guys on the 25th , thank you again for the support! best of luck to all of you xo
  5. thank you guys sooooo much!!!!! I really really do appreciate it
  6. First let me say, I am so sorry for your loss! I cannot imagine what you are going through I am not having second thoughts, just nervous. Its weird, Ive never had anxiety so Im assuming this is what I am feeling. Not a good feeling, that's for sure. I am concerned about being nauseous and vomiting post surgery. That is basically all I care about, the pain will go away but I don't want to spend the rest of my life feeling nauseous.
  7. oh thank god! LOL I am so nervous and Im a very strong person but everytime I think about the actual procedure, I have anxiety! Im so glad Im not the only one! best of luck to you!!!! and thanks for responding!
