  1. i was just reading some of the requirements from my insurance company and they will only approve the surgery if I have been on a physician assisted diet for a certain amount of time and I did not lose weight. How long does the approval process usually take? They will cover all the costs if my doctor finds the surgery medically necessary. Also, I have a question about the port site. I think that's what it is called. Isn't that where they inject the saline if you need a fill? I am still learning. How does that feel, do you get used to it? Thanks
  2. Hi, I have been doing some research about gettinging banded and I am going to attend an information session this week to find out more info. Can anyone tell me what has been the hardest part so far? My worries are that I am so attached to food, that just not being able to eat alot and not eat certain foods is going to be depressing, but I guess that is what has gotten me to this point and being overweight. I think that I have a good idea of what to expect, but hearing from people who have gone through this themselves is more helpful than reading about it. Also, how much weight should I expect to lose? I know it is not going to be easy, losing weight never is, but I just want to have as much information as possible to make the right decision.
