  1. Chicken has to be moist and hasn't caused me any problems. I cut it up real small and put a little butter and cheese on it. My doctor has me on only meat, cheese and eggs until week 6. I had one staple in each incision that were taken out before I left the hospital.
  2. Hi my name is Crystal. I was also sleeved on July 22nd. Today I had breakfast- scrambled eggs with cheese ,lunch- 3 grilled shrimp and about 9 bites of a piece of chicken, dinner-about 2 or 3 oz of chicken with cheese and then for a later snack I had a string cheese. Cheese helps everything go down so much better for me. I was out in puréed straight out if the hospital and told to do soft foods now . I am only allowed protein right now meat, cheese and eggs. No veggies no fruits and no carbs for quite some time!
  3. I have also found them at Meyers!
  4. Oh and my post op is this Friday which is 9 days post op

It excited me every day when I wake up!
  7. I am 7 days post op today! I still have pain which I have to take pain meds for. I can last about 6 hrs before the pain is bad enough for them. Is this normal?
  8. That is awesome! Great job! I still have pain Unfortunately I still have to take pain pills which bugs me. Well on a positive note I am down 7 lbs and 20 since pre-op ! Woo hoo!
  9. Everyone has a day from hell after surgery! Well most people. Don't be nervous it comes and goes fast an before you know it your feeling normal again. Day 2 was my hell day just really sore and nauseous they give you good anti nausea meds but it was the morphine making me sick. As soon as they took me off of that I wasn't feeling sick anymore! You'll be fine just be prepared!
  10. Congrats! Way to go!
  11. Hey there I have something similar. More like a muscle spasm under my left breast. It is th only swollen spot left , kinda does look like an air bubble. For me I think it is where the stomach was taken out of so it's more sensitive!
  12. I haven't been hungry at all just eating my three meals the doc told me to eat . I maybe get 3 or 4 spoonfuls . I am not too thirsty just having a hard time remembering when I can drink after eating. Doc already has me on puréed Protein. I have gotten down 20 to 40 oz of h2o down a day since home. Today is day 5
  13. Hi! How are you doing? First 3 days were hell! But now it seems everyday gets better.
  14. Had my sleeve done on 7/22. Also had 2 hernias repaired (umbilical and hiatal) the 2nd day was the worst! Today I'm day 4 post op and feeling alright. Doctor has me in puréed food already. Had scrambled eggs and puréed ham for breakfast and chicken salad for lunch less then an oz. I tried cottage cheese for dinner and my sleeve didn't like that too much. Decided to have a protein shake and it's taking me a while to finish but it tastes so yummy! Taking my vitamins has been the hardest !
  15. Yeah today no morphine at all and I feel so much better!
  16. I was tortured this morning with that nasty drink.came back with no leaks! Thankfully! So exhausted today !
  17. On my way to hospital! Today's the big day! So may emotions ! See you all on the sleeved side!
  18. 5 days! So excited! I am so ready to work my sleeve and begin getting healthy again. Dropped off my prescriptions this morning for after surgery and it was so weird. I am still in disbelief that the time is here. So I got my period on Saturday and had it for 4 days and now its gone. I am praying and hoping it doesn't pop back up after surgery. I hear a lot of people saying that it does. I had some different kind of cramping this period it was more painful. I am doing pretty good on Pre-Op Diet, I have lost 12 lbs in 12 days. A pound a day , I will take that!!! It is actually easy now. I don't want anything else.
