Just watched it. The ending was really unfortunate. I was really looking forward to seeing him succeed! I completely agree with you about the wife though. Even when the doctor asked her if she was committed to helping him lose the 100-150 he needed pre-op, she was like "Whatever"...

Have any of you had any luck requesting your surgery date be moved up? I'm in a weird situation. My surgery is scheduled for 8/5/13 in my home of Central NY. We just found out that my boyfriend is probably going to be transferred to Charlotte, NC in the next month or so. I figure my options are to wait until we move and start the process over again with a Charlotte surgeon or talk to my doctor's office here and see if there's any way possible to move up my date. I would rather do it here as I've become comfortable with the office - my insurance has approved the surgery, I've gone to my seminar and initial consult, nutritional consult and should have my psych consult in the next couple of weeks. So basically, I'm almost done (except an endoscopy which will be a couple weeks before surgery). Has anyone been in a similar situation? Any advice for me?
