Dr. Spivak performed my surgery; however, I am looking for a support group that may be closer to where I live. Does anyone have suggestions? Distance from Home: Houston - 2 hours San Antonio - 2 hours Austin - 1.5 hours I live right off of I-10 between Houston and San Antonio. A Katy group would be much better for me than to drive all the way thru traffic. I really need support and encouragement. All suggestions and information welcome. Thank you, Diana

I told my finance about the WLS when I was thinking about it and he got very defensive and ugly about it. He said that I am just wantng the eay way out and all I do is compain and not do anything about it; however, he is not overweight and has great genetics. I am pondering to have the surgery without anyone knowing, even my finance, and just staying near the hospital for a week. Any suggestions how to handle this.

Any suggestions on financing with fair to average credit ratings? What kind of credit score do you need in order to get financed? Anything would be helpful. Thank You All

I am trying to get approved thru Humana; however, as of Jan 1st 2005 they excluded weight loss surgery. Does anyone have suggestions or ideas? I thought about switching to United Health Care PPO, but I am not sure I would get accepted with my height to weight ratio... I am female, 26 years old, 5' 5'' and 250lbs. I would appreciate any help!!!
