My Story-I have struggled with my weight my entire life. I was taught as a youngster to never leave anything on your plate so you had to eat it all or be punished for wasting food. So, when you are not old enough to put the food on your plate your self well, things happen to you. In my case obesity. Yes, that's a difficult word for me but, it is a fact. I had enough of my clothes not fitting and going out to buy more (a bigger size...) and then my health is taking a spin out of control. I had the Gastric Lap Band placed in 2008 and have complications from it. I have been vomiting at times for weeks at a time and then you get so hungry and try to eat which leaves you eating the food that's loaded with fats and sugars that "stay" down finally. So, I have gained back the 30# of the almost 40# I had lost. Presently, I am working with my surgeon who is going to take the Lap Band out and then we have to wait 2-3 months for my stomach to "relax" and then proceed with the Gastric Sleeve. I know that I will have a struggle but, I feel that this is my only chance at a healthier lifestyle. Best to all that read this message~Donna
