  1. Congrats to you all! I was lucky to have insurance cover my sleeve in San Diego with Dr. Bhoyrul who I can not say enough great things about. Now my best friend who is in Canada is looking into going to TJ for the surgery and we are trying to gather info for her. I am wondering how you all are doing post op and what you plan on doing for follow-up?
  2. Congrats to everyone! I too am very glad to have this forum as a guide and also to realize that I am not failing and that stalls are a part of everyone's journey. I will be a month out on the 22nd and I am down 23lbs. I feel like everyone else, how could I not be losing more especially when I am following the rules and eating so much less and exercising so much more! Not that I am not proud of the 23lbs lost! I know my body will adjust and slowly the weight will continue to come off. Has been a difficult month of adjusting, luckily no complications whatsoever, mostly just the mental aspect. Once again congrats to everyone ....and here's to being healthier!!
  3. Were you re-admitted to the hospital? Sounds like you definately need some IV hydration and antibiotics. So sorry you are going through this. I too was sleeved 5/22. I was having a lot of chest pressure the first two days when trying to swallow, was an awful feeling but luckily has improved over the last couple days. Just dealing with 'head hunger'!!
  4. I was sleeved on the 22nd and feel like even when I take the smallest sip (no straws or spoons) still feel like I am swallowing a lot of air and it feels uncomfortable. Anyone else feeling this?
  5. Just got approved and got my date...may 22...which also happens to be my 33rd birthday! Excited for the new start!
