Yes it was. I was strictly on clear liquids. My body could not tolerate solids as of yet after the first two weeks.

I envy you all for being able to eat. I am seven weeks post op and I cannot eat anything without it hurting going down. When I do try to eat anything and feels like to get stuck halfway going down and most of the time I wind up vomiting it back up. Smh. I find myself drinking water or apple juice throughout the day because it's a safe choice. I'm starting to get depressed because of it.

I went from 278 to 236 in one month

I am 32 yrs old, 5" 6 & 280lbs. My goal is to lose 130 lbs so I can be within my BMI

I'm am concerned about the loose skin issue. 3 of my friends who had GB done are very insecure about their bodies even though they lost significant weight they aren't happy with their progress because of the loose skin. They have not been approved from their insurance to have the excess skin removed. So my question is there any way to help minimize loose skin after bariatric surgery? Is there anything on the market to help such as vitamins or skin care products?
