I feel so left out of some forums because I do not have a surgery date yet! LOL I meet with my surgeon again next Friday, June 7th. I will NOT walk out of his office without MY DATE!!!! Hehe #FingersCrossed4July

Congrats!!! We're almost there! I had my psych eval yesterday. It was VERY quick (5 mins max) and straightforward while he filled out the required paperwork for my surgeon! LOL Not complaining one bit!!

Yay!!! I just made my appointment for tomorrow! Now, I'll have all of my requirements complete by next week when I see my surgeon. Hoping for July!!!!

I've been going back and forth for two years now with my decision. I've always allowed other people's opinions to sway my final decision. But, I grew tired of my doctors telling me to lose weight and paying so much money to WW only to give up after a 20lbs lost (twice). I'm currently 300lbs w/ no known health concerns, 5ft 7in, and BMI 47. I'll be 28 y/o in July!

You'll be fine!!!! Just envision a slimmer and healthier you during this phase!!!

Being able to wear high heel shoes w/o pain Not resting my arms on my stomach (may miss this one, lol) Being more active with my 5 y/o son Not worrying if I'm able to fit in a seat or bench Walking pass the plus size section = cuter clothes... and not buying wide width shoes Not worrying about "what's for lunch or dinner" at 10AM! lol

This would be my last requirement that I'll have to complete. My surgeon would like me to visit the cardiologist 1 month before surgery. But I'm just unsure if I should wait until I have a surgery date before I schedule this appt. I meet with my surgeon again 6/7.
