It really amazes me on how the band/fills effects everyone differently. I felt some restriction with just my band. Then my doc gave me .5CC in a 10CC band -- and i had a little more restriction. Last week, i got another .5cc for a total of 1cc, and I can hardly eat anything. I am eating small amounts, very very slowly. But I couldn't imagine having another fill anytime soon. Not that I am complaining -------------- don't get me wrong. It just amazes me. I remember thinking during my 1st fill "What is .5cc going to do for me when there are some getting 5cc at a time?" -- But everyone is just so different. Lilly73 -- PB is productive burp and NSV is Non scale victory. I had one of those the other night. I went to Cheddars with my friends and they were already sitting in a booth. I normally try to do a table -- but I was so happy to fit comfortably in the booth -- with room to spare. I can't wait for November -- i am flying to Vegas. I am sure this time, i will just be like everyone else -- i will walk onto the plane, go to my seat, and buckle up. WITHOUT asking for a seatbelt extension. WHOOHOOO -- i haven't done that for years. And I can't wait to sit in the seats at whatever show i go to see and not have to squeeze in and out of them. :clap2::clap2:

I gained about 3 pounds during vacation, and have been battling to lose those same 3 pounds. I finally did and now down another .6 pounds from my lowest. So I hope I am on the right track again. I went to my doctor last week and he wouldn't do my 1st fill. He said it was because i was right on track of losing 1 - 2 pounds per week (barely 1 pound) -- I think it was because he was running 1 hour late and didn't want to bother with it. So i am almost 2 months from surgery with no fill, but I am still losing. So I am grateful for that. Just think if I would get off my butt and exercise too. HEHEHE Thanks!!

I for one normally can only keep up with us Junies. I very rarely look at any other threads because i just do not have the time. So unless something catches my eye on the home page or i am looking for something specific, I just go to the June 2007 threads. So i had no idea that another trip was even being planned. I am not sure if i would be willing to go in February anyways. I live in SNOW country and you never know about the weather. I would much rather go sometime between april/may or sept/oct. And if it were just a Junies trip, we are all on the same time line -- almost. Going thru the same things and have a lot more in common. It may be more fun. They are planning a weekend trip. Vegas is more expensive on the weekends, more crowded and we won't get as good of a deal on the hotel room. If we did a Sun, Mon, Tues - it is less expensive. Flights would be less, rooms would be less, Black Jack Tables will have a lower minimum bet....hehehe.....Just a thought. But you know -- a trip to Vegas is fun no matter what!! I will support us either way.

I love Vegas. I have been there 7 times in the last 3 years. I have stayed at different places. Circus Circus (not crazy about it) but it was very inexpensive. I have stayed at the Flamingo -- very nice and mid-stip which makes it nice. I have also stayed at the Imperial Palace, okay, nothing special but again, inexpensive. I stayed at the Aladdin, which has now changed to Planet Hollywood. Very nice and a great shopping mall. It is a little more expensive. My only thought would be definetly stay on the strip somewhere. Summer months can be VERY hot -- i was ther ein August last year when it was a sweltering 115 degrees. For a 300+ gal, that was miserable. Maybe we could look at sometime after June, that way we will all have been banded for a year. Our BANDiversary celebration. And I hope not to have to ask for a seat belt extension when i fly there. HEHEHEHE Count me in!!!!
