  1. 8 days post op and had hiatal hernia repair. I did not know I had one, however, I was NOT surprised. Thinking back to all the heartburn/reflux, I should've known!
  2. Go to the desk at your gate when you get there and ask them for a "medical pass". This will allow you to preboard before any one else. We were able to get the first row which had more leg room than any other seats. They will give it to you with no questions asked!! We flew southwest.
  3. I'm a side sleeper but couldn't do it until last night, day 6 post op!
  4. We used US dollars only.
  5. I add a drop of orange extract to my vanilla chike protein powder or my premier vanilla and it tastes like a dreamsicle! Yummy!!
  6. That's exactly what it feels like-little bee stings that catch me off guard. I was getting worried that maybe I had a leak or something else wrong.
  7. Left the Marriott Tuesday. We sat by the pool and enjoyed the sun and breeze every day. Abraham, our coordinator, did take my hubby and my sister in law (who was sleeved also) to Revolution to shop. The weren't too impressed shopping there.
  8. I am 5 days post op and I started yesterday with some little stinging shooting pains in my stomach. I think its gas pains but not sure. Is this what y'all mean by spasms?? I also get a crampy feeling with every sip of anything.
  9. We gave $5 each to the driver who picked us up at airport but when we left we each gave Abraham $20. Be sure to have $1's to tip. The Bellhops are grabbing your bags before you get out of the van!
  10. Good luck today! I'll be awaiting your next posts. I'll be there Friday with Dr. Lopez and I'm very nervous/anxious!!
  11. Set for May 10th in Tijuana. Nervous but my hubby (tommyd) will be with me. He had his in New Orleans area in November and is doing WONDERFUL!!!!
  12. Sleeve scheduled for May 10th at MI with Dr. Lopez. My sis-in-law and I are both having it done and my hubby (who had his done at home in New Orleans in November) is coming to be our caretaker! Hope we don't give him too much trouble! I am very nervous but reading most of these posts help calm some of my fears.
