  1. Ok, so I started the pre-op diet on Thursday of last week. I have been so very good. The only day I veered from plan was on the first day Thursday. Since then I have followed their guidelines to a tee and I have only lost 1 lb. What is wrong with this picture? Anyone else in the same boat or how is everyone else tracking so far?
  2. That's great. How's your nausea? I know you we're having issues.
  3. EAS shakes from target are awesome. My favorite by far. The strawberry tastes like nestle quick strawberry. Today was 2nd day preop and easier today.
  4. Here is the link to my 2nd video blog in my weight loss journey series. Hope you enjoy. Tamara Wentworth
  5. So am I the only one, or are there others that have decided to eat the few things that they are truly going to miss before starting the pre-op diet? I have gone out and got things like cashews, Madelines, Hawaiian Maui Onion Chips, Broccoli and Beef... I am not a big foodie, but there are a few things in life that I love very much. I know there will come a day where I will get to eat, even if in small doses, some of things that I like. Some people call it a food funeral, but I just call it a goodbye to a few friends.
  6. Proud mamma we are close I'm in riverside.
  7. I have been buying different shakes and sampling them. I love the Adkins and EAS Myoplex shakes and bars. Taste great. I bought a Magic Bullet, Unjury unflavored protein powder and 6 chicken soup packets. I'm going to get unflavored glee tan to add to the shakes to thicken them up a bit.
  8. Ms Skinneness I live in Riverside, La Sierra actually. We are really close to each other.
  9. Thinnerdaysahead, thanks for your support. I hope the same for you.
  10. Thx Rox. I will post another next Thursday when I start per-op diet.
  11. Sleevehappy, Thank you! I hope some day I can have 105 lbs lost on my board. That is amazing and fantastic. You should be proud. How was your journey? Difficult?
  12. Thanks for the info, I appreciate it.
  13. I feel for all of you, and am nervous about this myself. I dont start till the 21st but boy oh boy Im scared. I ordered the UnJury Chicken Soup and Unflavored Protein powder to add to things. I am going to get unflavored jello also to add to the soups to help thicken them up. This also thickens up shakes.
  14. By the way good luck on your surgery in the morning. Keep us posted on how it goes. Looking forward to the new you.
  15. I am curious how the scars look. Would you mind sending photos of that so I can see? I have to have some of those same surgeries and am very concerned about scaring. I had boobs done back in 2005 and need to get them done again as well because of their age. I need thigh lift, tummy tuck, and but lift. How was recovery?
  16. Im July 5th and Im in Riverside, CA. Anybody close by?
  17. That's awesome. Congrats
  18. Welcome to the July club. Thanks for watching and lets keep in touch.
  19. So I am wondering if any of you are on prescriptions and how you are taking them. I see many people say that they can't take large gulps of water and if they sip more than three sips they upchuck what they drank. This worries me as I take 5 prescriptions at night. Just looking for a little info as my surgery is 3 weeks and 4 days away.
  20. Sorry it is public now. My bad.
  21. Here is my first video blog on this journey. I will be doing one on my next appointment, which is pre-op, on the 20th of June, then on morning of surgery, after surgery, and once a week for the next year. Thanks for checking it out and liking it.
  22. Hey, I am due to have surgery on July 5. 4 weeks and some change away. Meet with my surgeon next week on friday. Excited.
  23. Awesome Job! How are finding it? Are you having a difficult time.
  24. Lorraine July 5 is my surgery date.
