  5. Some doctors will do the skin removal surgery at no cost to you. They use the removed skin for skin grafts on burn patients and things like that. I've personally not looked into it yet since I was just sleeved on Dec 6th, but have been told about it multiple times. In also in DFW area.
  6. Just started day one of pre-op. I already want to throw myself down and throw a hissy fit that would impress my two year old little girl. Lol. I was only told to be on all liquid diet. Beef broth, chicken broth, SF Jello, water, decaf tea, etc... This already is so hard!

  8. I start mine the 21st for December 6 surgery. Not looking forward to it t all, since I always look forward to thanksgiving and Christmas dinners, but ultimately I know that missing this one year will probably add 30+ years to my life.
  9. Sent in my insurance information and I'm just waiting for the surgeon's office to call me in for the free consult. I'm so scared because I have no idea what to expect at this point. With a bmi of 52, will insurance even deny me?
