  1. I am just noticing and people are too...pre-op start 6/22/13,surgery 7/10/13- lost 57.
  2. I can eat more wheat thins then triscuits... But don't have problems with none of the crackers. I make sure I don't exceed 6 wheat thins though.. And they aren't a slider for me
  3. Ok..I made the Carmel bake and it was fabulous! Thanks game girl!
  4. All, I absolutely love these Protein powder ideas. I made the number 29 overnight chocolate oats and it was good to my surprise. Some of the ideas you probably heard before. Link is below. Hope the link works! http://greatist.com/health/high-protein-snacks-portable

  8. I don't know what's going with me today. I'm sad and want to eat everything in the house. I made my kids hamburgers and fries.. And wanted to eat that.. But didn't.. I gave up red meat and "real" bread (pasta and bread from the bowl/package) for a year. I did eat some raisins and wheat thins.. Thinking I need some real protein which I think I'm going to get some crabs. I guess this journey isn't that easy. I'm almost 3 months post op. lost 50.. But have a way to go..I guess for the first time since surgery I'm mourning food..
  9. Vanilla almond and apple pie.... Have to try putting apple pie in the microwave.
  10. I agree with last post. I was back to work in a week.
  11. Sorry post to wrong forum
  12. You have done so well.. By the time you and I blink we will be at goal.
  13. I haven't had a hair lost yet.. Can't speak on that yet.. Because I'm wearing braids.. didn't want have excuses to not work out. Ahaha. Haven't had a perm since 2003. I make sure that I have a protein shake once a day .. And eat my protein first before eating anything . I will be taking my braids out shortly.. And will give you an update. I also started exercising 2 weeks after surgery. I committed myself to 4-5 days a week. I want to capitalize on the weight lost for the first year since I have a lot to lose. I weigh 348 at pre op, after pre-op 339 and now 298. At first I was being inpatient because I thought I would lose the weight quicker.. But just think..I lost 50lbs in 3 months since pre-op.. Last year I was on weight watchers from march 2012- August - 2012 started at 348 and end 322. It took me 6 months to lose 22 lbs.. And gain it back. With the sleeved process I lost 50.. Give me a break.. I had put that in perceptive . I have lost a lot of inches.. Some people at work are noticing .... All I can say is that the weight will come off..better slow.. Than fast so it will allow your body to heal properly. Those that have been sleeved this year will be talking a different tune .. And will be happy with our results and encouraging others next year.. Just my two cents. Felicia
  14. Hey AA Family... I haven't post to this thread.. But I want to tell allll the newbie getting the surgery that after the surgery it get easier. I started pre-op on jun 25th and was sleeved on July 10th. I'm almost 3 months out..and feel great! After the surgery you might say.. What the heck did you do?! But it's worth it! You will ask herself why it took me so long?! Everyone have blessed day! Felicia
  15. Also.. Keep in mind people are getting use to your new look. They are so use to you being bigger. You lost a lot of weight in a short time period. People will adjust there thinking. You can win.. Or lose.. They talk about you when you are big or small.. Just do what makes you feel good!
